DentalPlus Install on MAC Step By step Guide 

Step 1) Please run Adobe Air by clicking the following link below

Step 2) Please follow the following steps ( When running the above adobe air it may say file damaged this will then resolve the damaged program)

Step 1 of 3: Open Finder: Go to Frameworks

a.     Open Finder.

b.    From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder

c.     Type or copy/paste this: /Library/Frameworks

d.    Click Go

Step 2 of 3: Open Frameworks in Terminal

a.     Right-click on the Frameworks folder

b.    click on "New Terminal at Folder"  

This will open a new Terminal window. It should look something like this:

Step 3 of 3: Remove Quarantine Bits

a.    Type or copy and paste:  sudo xattr -d com.apple.quarantine "Adobe AIR.framework"  and press “RETURN”

b.    Enter your Mac login Password when prompted and press “RETURN”.

Once this has been done you are now ready to install DentalPlus

Step 3) Install DentalPlus

Follow this link and install the latest version. Then come back here.

It will take you to a page like this

Click Download

- Once download is complete Drag DentalPlus program to the Desktop

- Right Click DentalPlus click open if it says move to bin or cancel click “cancel” then Right click DentalPlus program again it should now give you an option that says “OPEN”

- When DentalPlus program loads it will show you a blank config screen

Enter the following Details (Provided the practice with there own personal details)

• Server Name : Remote or Home (This stays the same)
• Server address: Practice remote access address Please call 01903 899933 or email dentalplus.support@admor.co.uk The DentalPlus team will assist you with this
  
• Server Path: This automatically fills in however some times you will have to enter a different path usual path (dentalplus_air ) 
• Click load full screen
• Add
• Done

DentalPlus will now dissapear and open up again (If the program doesn’t open right click Dentalplus Program “OPEN”)

You may need to set the permissions before i can connect onto the computer you are working on
