Checking DentalPlus Backup
Local backup
The DentalPlus database is exported and encrypted twice daily, approx 13:00 and 18:00
On one of your hard disks, you should have a folder called dentalplus_backup where these are stored. If you sort the folder listing by date to get the newest at the top. Check this is today or yesterday, depending on the time you're checking. If it's not, please contact us ASAP.

This folder (dentalplus_backup) should be included in your local backup policy.
Off-site backup
We use a program called Duplicati to send the data to Microsoft Azure for off-site storage.
If you load Duplicati from the start menu on the server, you should see two backup jobs, one for your DentalPlus documents and one for the database exports. They should have a next and previous run date, if the previous run is longer ago that yesterday, please contact us ASAP.

Practices should have their own backup procedures in place, please include c:\dentalplus\xampp\htdocs and c:\dentalplus_backup (or whichever disk they are located) in you backup procedure.
